CSC has the privilege of being the first private air cargo handling company to be ISO 9001-2000 certified for all its operations at Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.
It is also the first private air cargo handling company to be registered as a “Regulated Agent” by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (“BCAS”) India, enabling the company to provide X-ray screening services to its airline customers.

Awarded ‘Exceptional Position under Cold Chain Category’ at the CII SCALE Awards
Cargo Service Center India was awarded the prestigious title of “Exceptional Position under Cold Chain Category” at the recently concluded Supply Chain And Logistics Excellence Awards 2013 (SCALE 2013) organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) through its Institute of Logistics, held during 21-22 May 2014 at the Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai.

Cargo Service Center India was honoured as the Winner in the category – Cargo Ground Handler of the Year (Region-India) at the International Awards for Excellence, organised by STAT TIMES, held at the Westin Hotel, Mumbai during February 2014 . The STAT Trade Times (STAT Times) is an international multi-modal transport trade media, specialising in air cargo.

Cargo Service Center India was presented with the ‘Recognition Award’ on behalf of Go Air at a ceremony held in Mumbai during Feb 2014, in recognition of CSC India’s robust support to one of India’s leading Airlines.

Swiss WorldCargo hosted two back to back gala events in Delhi and Mumbai on 22nd and 23rd November 2013 respectively, to honour its Customers and Partners.
Awarded ‘Best Air Cargo Terminal in India (2013) – Perishable Cargo Terminal, Mumbai’
For the second year in a row, Cargo Service Center India’s Mumbai Terminal – “Perishable Cargo Terminal” was also awarded the prestigious title of “Best Air Cargo Terminal of the Year” 2013 at the 7th ELSC Awards held at Taj Land’s End, Mumbai during 2013. Both of CSC’s terminals at Mumbai and Delhi have been jointly conferred with the prestigious title.

Cargo Service Center India’s Delhi Air Cargo Terminal “Cargo Terminal 2” was awarded the prestigious title of “Best Air Cargo Terminal of the Year” 2013 at the 7th Express, Logistics and Supply Chain Conclave (ELSC Awards) held at Mumbai in 2013. The ELSC Awards is widely regarded as Asia’s most important gathering of Logistics & Supply Chain Professionals.
Najm Award (2013) from the Emirates to Cargo Service Center India
Cargo Service Center India is a proud recipient of the Emirates’ Najm Award – awarded to the CSC Chennai Team for key support rendered during the GHA Strike from 8 – 15 Jan 2013. The Najm award is the reward and recognition program of the Emirates Group. The Najm, which means “Star” in Arabic, recognizes and awards exceptional behavioral competencies.

Confederation of Indian Industry (“CII”)
The Confederation of Indian Industry works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the development of India, partnering industry, Government, and civil society, through advisory and consultative processes.
Air Cargo Forum of India (“ACFI”)
The Air Cargo Forum India was constituted recently by its founding members from all the segments of the entire air cargo trade & industry to support & promote the major common interests of entire cargo logistic trade & industry. Its members come from from all the segments of air cargo logistics network through invitation that includes Airlines, Airport Operators, Customs Licensed Agents, Cargo Terminal Operators, Courier & Express Operators, General Sales Agents on behalf of IATA accredited Airlines, Integrators, IATA accredited Freight Forwarders and Associations of all the above logistic trade members.
National Centre for Cold Chain Development (“NCCD”)
Basis the recommendation of a Task Force report on cold chain development in India, the National Centre for Cold Chain Development was established in India as an autonomous centre for excellence to be established as a registered society to work in close collaboration with industry and other stake holders to promote and develop integrated cold chain in India for perishable F&V and other perishable allied agri – commodities to reduce wastages and improve the gains to farmers and consumers substantially.
Cool Chain Association (“CCA”)
The CCA is a non-profit organization, founded in 2003, with the aim of synchronizing the cool supply chain in order to improve the quality of perishables and temperature sensitive products (PTSP) and thus prolong their shelf life and reduce wastage.
Cargo 2000 (“C2K”)
Cargo 2000 (C2K) is an industry group with the mission to create and implement the quality standard and management system for the worldwide air cargo industry. C2K operates as a Not-For-Profit Membership Group supported by IATA, composed of some 80 major airlines, freight forwarders, ground handling agents, trucking companies and IT providers globally.

Founded in 1963, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) is the preeminent worldwide professional association dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of research and knowledge on supply chain management. With over 8,500 members representing nearly all industry sectors, government, and academia from 67 countries, CSCMP members are the leading practitioners and authorities in the fields of logistics and supply chain management.
